I sent my resume to Roy Payne @ irestore22@***.com in response to an ad for "skilled remodeler". Having almost 20 years under my belt, and owning over $50,000 in tools, I assumed that I was well qualified. When no response came after a couple of days I thought it prudent to follow up, so I emailed Roy again to ask for a status update, figuring that "out of sight, out of mind" wouldn't serve me well. I got no response, so as a matter of standard operating procedure, after a week I emailed again, very professionally, asking if the position had been filled. The response I got was the last thing any sane person could even imagine. Roy emailed me in a most profane manner, telling me things like "leave me the *** alone", and "you are a god damned psycho, *** you", and "I would never hire you". I should have left it alone but curiousity got the best of me, and I wanted to know what I did wrong, so in a consistantly level-headed manner, I asked. Next thing I know I am getting calls at 3 a.m. from guys wanting to hook up w/ my wife. Nuff said?

Rude and surly hiring bosses
its a shame when your qualifications are more than enough to warnt a job but the hiring manager decides to be rude and nasty and try to belittle you like your a kid . the company web address is irestore22@***.com these people should be banned from advertising on the net or anywhere else . I personally dont see how companies hire people in there hr dept that have no people skills these peole should be kept behind the scenes and not allowed to contact the public or working in fast food where they can learn to control there mouth or they will end up with lawsuits against the company for unlawful behavior

Most people assume when they don't hear back from a prospective employers, that they haven't been hired. It is really rare, anymore for employers to contact applicants, other than the ones that they want to hire, for an interview, and then only contact the one that they actually hire. that isn't the way it should be done, but that seems to be the way they do it now.
